Holes
Its been a minute since my last post here. I’ve been working freelance on a number of projects the past few months and they all revolve around clients with fruit names.
I’ve been playing around with how to select geometry through VEX expressions. I wanted to basically “polyExtrude” and “blast” different spheres to see if I could come up with anything interesting.
SO… I added a sphere that was a product of this exploration but I have also been using #houdini and #htoa #arnold. I rendered the materials for this in Arnold using “Flakes” and subsurface to make it feel a bit fancy and light.
I’ve also started using the “file cache” node alot more lately and I feel like I have had years added to my life.
The last image on this post is meant to show that I’ve been using more #Vex lately and I was able to use “pick by percentage” to create the holes.
